　　魔幻开始
　　第二次世界大战期间，英国-伦敦遭受德国战鹰威胁，当地孩子被疏散到附近郊区避难，皮文斯家的四个小孩——彼得、苏珊、爱德蒙、露西——被安排在一位老教授，柯克先生充满神秘气氛的乡间大宅里暂住。
　　在这占地辽阔、房间众多的宅邸之中，小妹露西意外发现了一个奇特的衣橱，而它正是魔法王国纳尼亚的入口，露西进入这个动物也能说话的奇幻世界，并且与和蔼可亲的半羊人都纳先生成为了好朋友。
　　当露西返回现实将自己亲身经历告诉哥哥和姐姐时，他们并没有相信这个特别爱幻想的妹妹，然而由于一次意外情况，他们也进入魔衣橱，并随着里面幽暗的灯光踏上造访纳尼亚的路，开始了四个孩子在魔幻王国的冒险。
　　此时纳尼亚正被邪恶势力笼罩，千年不死的白女巫用暴政统治着整个王国，她用阴谋颠覆了狮王的统治，将纳尼亚变成一片终年寒冷的冰天雪地，孩子们发现了女巫的残忍，于是决定帮助狮子重新夺回王位。
　　本片改编自爱尔兰著名小说家C.S. 刘易斯的经典畅销童话《纳尼亚魔幻王国》(The Chronicles of Narnia)七部曲中的第二部，根据制片公司的消息，其他六个部分也将陆续被改编，本片的制作成本已经超过1亿5千万美元，而整体的预算更是高达11亿美元，堪称电影史上工程最宏大的魔幻系列题材。
