there be 和 there are是不是一样的

there be 是英语里一个用法很广泛的句法。而there are 只是there be 句型的一个。
仔细推敲的话there be 句型也是一个蛮复杂句型。

数的变化：单复数
There is +可数名词单数/不可数名词
There are +可数名词复数

时态的变化：
一般现在时：there is /are
一般过去式：there was /were
完成时：there has been/ have been
过去完成时：there had been

there be 句型，是个叫法
是存在句，平时叫习惯了所以直接there be了
be这里可以是is,are,was,were等等
复数用什么，单数用什么，是过去还是现在？
根据这些来判断be具体用什么
再复杂一点there has been/there have been用完成时也有的

There be 的be 可以是 is 也可以是are，主要看后面的名词
如果是复数即用are，单数即用is
比如
There is a sofa in my room.
There are two sofas in my room.
