like, love, hate, prefer在用法上有什么区别？

　　like, love, hate, prefer等表示喜爱，厌恶的动词后面，可用动名词也可用不定式作宾语，意义差别不大。但当这些词前面有should或would时，一定要用动词不定式作宾语。表示想要，愿意，打算。例如：
　　She likes dancing. But she wouldn’t like to dancewith you. 她喜欢跳舞。（泛指）但他不喜欢和你跳。（特指）
　　He looked tired and I didn’t like to disturb him. 他看上去很累，我不想打扰他。
　　I don’t like reading, but I’d like to read amagazine in bed tonight. 我不喜欢看书，但是今天晚上倒想躺在床上看本杂志。
　　Little Jim should love to be taken to the theatrethis evening. 小吉姆今晚喜欢被带去看戏。
　　The reporter would /should like to see you again. 那位记者还想见见你。
　　We don’t like talking about people behind theirbacks.我们不喜欢背后议论人。
　　hateto do sth 表示“真不想做某事，（但不得不做）”。如：
　　I hate to disturb you now, but I have nochoice. 我真不想现在打扰你，但没有办法。

prefer的用法

1、后接不定式时与rather than 或instead of连用，如：He prefered to die rather than (to) steal. / He perfered to die instead of stealing. 他宁死也不去偷窃。
2、注意介词搭配，如： I prefer swimming to skating. (I like swimming better than skating.)我喜欢游泳胜过滑冰。prefer 因其本身含有比较之意，而不可再与more 或most连用。
3、prefer＋名词或动名词“宁愿”，“更喜欢”。He comes from Shanghai, so he prefers rice. 他是上海人，因此更喜欢吃米饭。I prefer going by bike.我宁愿骑单车去。I prefer the white one.我喜欢那个白的。
4、prefer to do “愿意做”。I prefer to go at once.我愿意马上就走。
5、prefer sb. to do “愿意某人做” I prefer you to go at once.我倒希望你马上就走。
6、prefer to sth.“宁愿做...而不做...”. I prefer tea to milk.我宁愿喝茶也不喝牛奶。I prefer watching TV to going out. 我宁愿看电视也不出去。
7、prefer to do sth. rather than do sth.“宁愿做...而不做...” I prefer to watch TV rather than go out.我宁愿呆在家里也不出去。
8、prefer＋ that从句“宁愿”（从句一般用虚拟语气）I prefer that you should do it.我宁愿你做这件事。

like,love
1.like doing/to do，love doing/to do 两者都可以。
2.like 和love 在接不定式或动名词作宾语时，love表示的“程度”要深一些。
3.这两个词接不定式时，表“具体某一时”的爱好或兴趣；接动名词时，表“经常性”的爱好或嗜好。

hate是憎恨、厌恶的意思，和它们不需要区别的
