As a commonly seen chronic liver disease, liver cirrhosis makes up 16% of all liver diseases in our country. It always has long course of disease with complicated state of illness, which is hard to cure and needs a long time of treatment. Most patients feel pessimistic, desperate or lost confidence to treatment due to long suffering of pains. Without accepting treatment in a coordianated manner, treatment outcome was affected, which led to a vicious circle——exacerbated symptoms, falling physical ability, adverse reaction from treatment, being in hospital repeatedly and heavy financial burden. Moreover, due to lacking effective treatment, patients' quality of life and further rehabilitation were badly affected. Through analyzing mental health status of 50 patients with decompensated cirrhosis, who accepted treatment in our division, this paper proposes to offer psychological nursing intervention. In the practice, good outcome was achieved as described in the report below:

The course of a long, complex in refractory disease, a prolonged treatment is needed. Most patients due to sickness treatment for a long battle with confidence and pessimism. Can't actively cooperate with treatment, affect the treatment effect and the formation of a vicious circle, worsening symptoms, physical decline, the treatment of adverse reactions, repeated hospitalization and heavy economic burden. And at present lack of special treatment, serious impact on the quality of life of the patients and further rehabilitation. This article through to in January 2011-January 2012 in my hospital, 50 cases of liver cirrhosis decompensated patients psychological health condition of the investigation and analysis, this paper put forward and take the psychological nursing intervention, and achieved good results now report as follows.

Objective: to study the psychological nursing intervention on the mental health status of patients with liver cirrhosis of the influence.
Methods: 50 cases of hospitalized patients with cirrhosis of the liver decompensation of psychological nursing intervention, in the admission with day 1 and 1 day before before discharge, the symptoms since the rating scale (SCL-90) of the mental health status of test scores, and will be the difference between before and after the mental health status of the comparison.
Result: 50 cases of liver cirrhosis decompensated patients in the body, interpersonal relations, depression, anxiety, hostile, mental illness of six factors score were significantly higher than the norms (P < 0.05). Show that psychological nursing intervention on the mental health status of patients with liver cirrhosis with the impact of significance.
