可以尝试对所学过的短语，词组进行【分类记忆】：
1 以核心动词为中心总结归纳：
look forward(to)
look back(on/upon)
look for
look out
look into
look after
look around
look through

take out 拿出；取出
take in 引进；插入；欺骗（多用被动）
take up 拿起；从事；占据（时间，空间等）
take on 呈现；继续

2 以小品词（副词，介词等）为中心总结归纳
含有 out 的短语：
look out 小心；当心；向外看
break out 发生；爆发
take out 拿出；取出
wear out 使筋疲力尽；穿破
hand out 分发

3 以汉语意思为中心归纳：
表示“认为、、、、、、是、、、、、、”
consider...as
regard...as
take...as
keep...as
treat...as
think of...as
look on...as

经常这样做的话，积累的短语就会增多，只是要注意经常复习巩固。
再就是，对于每个短语的意思，最好记一两个典型的例句。例如：
Tom,it is going to rain.Please help me 【pick up】my clothes from the line.
After the rebuilding,our school 【takes on a new look】.
