1.I always spend too much time on what I like.I like reading but mostly,I may read novels.
第一句觉得你翻译的有点累赘，另外是spend time on sth/in doing sth
2.I know it is waste of time,but I still have to do it.
第二句除了waste不可数觉得你加一个a不好，其他问题不大。

我觉得这里是现在的一个状态，用现在完成时，然后要用一个延续性的动词，那就用been（be的过去分词） 代替好了。

大多时候应该翻译成 most time. 把I go to read novels 改成 I read novels 这样会更好

最后那一句用过去式就可以了。 RETIRED就表明状态
她过去退休的 并不是一直都在退休。 用一般过去时就行了
