With the healthy development of China's economy, the business of China's commercial banks is getting more mature, of which individual housing loan business is rapidly developing and getting mature, but it also exposed many problems and multiple risks. Along with the healthy development of our country's economy, the business of commercial banks has also been improved. The IHL (individual housing loan) business is developing rapidly and becoming much maturer, but it is also exposing many problems and facing with various risks at the same time. The financial tsunami caused by the subprime crisis happened in the U.S also taught us a lesson about the importance of controlling the risk of IHL business. Therefore, in order to nip in the bud, strengthening the prevention of the risk of IHL in comercial banks is becoming an sinificant issue.
This paper firstly summarizes the general concepts of IHL and credit risk, and then analyzes the performance of the credit risks of IHL of our country's commercial banks and the causes of the formation of the risks. It proposes some suggestions to improve the management level of the credit risks of IHL of our country's commercial banks.
