My friend Mary is a big fan of the famous Taiwan singer, Hebe. She has spent a lot of time and energy on paying attention on the singer, such as buying the CDs, pictures and posters of Hebe, or waiting in queue overnight for seeing her idol in person. Yesterday our class teacher blamed her for her poor performance on all her subjects. In comparison to her past scores, she has fallen behind most of her classmates now. I think Mary should focus her attention on her studies instead of the singer because being a good student is very important for her future development. Getting good marks is a crucial factor for being a good student. Moreover, both her mother and i should constantly keep an eye on her and monitor her behaviour towards studies. Once she diverted her attention to sth. related to Hebe, we will remind her of her mistakes.
