Thou soul of love and brav'ry!
Thy songs were made for the pure and free
They shall never sound in slavery!

在我所有看过的电影当中，Minstrel Boy 是我见过最好听而且跟整个电影搭配得最好的一首。从它的歌词来看，它不但准确地描写了士兵们对战争视死如归的精神，而且也符合了《黑鹰坠落》所描绘的情景。这首歌越往下听越悲壮（自己听听就知道了）；整个歌曲的配乐把这首歌的意思表达得淋漓尽致，而且听起来有点很悲壮、但是又很欢快的感觉。
