At present, more and more Chinese people begin to celebrate foreign festivals such as Christmas Day and Valentine's Day. Different people have quite different ideas on this phenomenon. Some people hold the idea that it strengthens the cultural exchanges of different countries. While some of them think it is a kind of worshipping foreign things blindly.
In my opinion, celebration of foreign festivals plays an important role in cultral exchanges of different countries. In morden society, exchanges of different countries are not just confined to economy, military, etc., and most importantly, it is characterised by cultural communication. The cultural exchanges of different countries can achieve all-round development.
5）Last summer holiday, I went to HaiNan with my family. The weather was pleasant! The sky was blue more than I could describe, the sea was blue and bright more than I could believe. Walking by the sea is just like being in the oil painting! We sailed to an island called Xidao. I swam there. Swimming in the sea is quite different from that in a pool. Bedsides swimming, we also had a good meal there. We had a nice seafood dish.
And I bought back many beautiful shells. If you want to have a look, you may ask me. Or, we may go to Hainan together, for I am always hoping to come to that place again. I really like that place, a place of blue and brightness.
7）Air pollution
China is a big industrial country so there are a great number of factories. Much dirty air is released everyday. There is so much traffic in China that burning of oil and coal, and the exhaust from cars and trucks cause serious air pollution. The air that was polluted can hardly breathe by people and it sometimes irritates people’s eyes when breathing. It’s also harmful to the animals nearby. The air pollution is not only outside now; the indoor air quality is a big problem to modern Chinese. The major problem is the use of traditional fuel such as wood, dung and charcoal. Furthermore, the toxic oil paint can cause disease such as cancer. So it’s even not safe to live in the house.
Though the problems are local threats. There are still many things for people to do to solve these problems. We should protect the environment as well as our earth.
