mariah carey1990年出道，从第一首vision of love到2008年的touch my body，一共有18首冠军歌曲。
mariah各个时期的风格不太一样。my all是1998年的作品，属于她生涯中期。那时mariah唱功已纯熟，所以这首歌中的轻重顿挫以及低音与高音的对比她都处理的相当到位。这一时期的代表作（个人喜欢的）还有fantasy，butterfly，one sweet day（在冠军榜上蝉联16周）等等。
mariah后期转型嘻哈hiphop风格，快歌居多，2005年专辑大获成功，4首好听的快歌we belong together(这首估计是很多人心中的no.1),it's like that,shake it off,don't forget about us。
