英语改错~

One day,I was cooking in the kitchen when the telephone rang.I went to answer it immediately.It was my close friend,Lisa.When we were talking on the phone,the fire alarm sounded.I ran back to the kitchen.The room was full of smoke and the beef was badly burnt.I quickly turned off the gas,opened all the windows,and then went out of the house.To my surprise,the two fire engines were outside my house.I was rather worried.I told the fireman that it was my careless cooking which caused the heavt smoke.
