光盘驱动器主要有光学头,读通道,聚焦伺服,跟踪伺服,主轴电机伺服和微处理器等部分组成。光盘驱动器与光盘片的耦合部件是光学头系统,其作用是从光盘片读出数据。除了可反射极微细激光束的半导体激光器外,光学头中还包含了光学系统,使激光束准确地照射到光盘的信息轨迹上,另外光学头中环包含了光电接收系统,把反射光信号转换成电信号输出。从光源半导体激光器发出的发散激光束经过相位光栅,产生三光束(用于光学头自动跟踪),在经过准值整形镜后形成圆光束,穿过偏振分束镜和四分之一波片使激光束的偏振方向旋转45角度。光束通过物镜聚焦到光盘的信息轨道上,具有不同反射特性的反射光经过90度角的偏振旋转后通过原偏振分束镜的45度角分束面,输出与原光束偏振垂直的光束,再通过用于光学头自动聚焦的柱面镜,入境到光探测器上,即可读出数据。聚焦与跟踪伺服系统根据光电监测的读取光点与数据信息轨道的跟踪误差信号,由放置光学头的二维力矩器,在于光盘垂直方向上移动透镜,实现跟踪伺服,使物镜聚焦光束正确地落在光盘面上的信息轨道中央(即所谓的跟踪)。主轴电机伺服系统利用旋转编码其产生的伺服信号,控制光盘以恒定的线速度或恒定的角速度旋转,以按照标准的格式读取数据。微处理器执行上述功能的时序和控制操作,并通过接口和计算机传递数据。
