Currently, the transient stability problem in power system is one of the main problems to solve for keeping electric network stability, and there are mainly two analysis methods of the transient stability of current electric network: "time domain simulation method" and "direct method",to some extent, they both have drawbacks. In this paper, the author introduced a method named "Artifical Neural Network (ANN)information amalgamation",and applied it in estimation of transient stability in power system.
Firsly, the author discussed the characters of the technology of information amalgamation, reviewed the traditional transient stability estimation and its advantages and disadvantages,put forward an estimation model of the transient stability in power system based on ANN.
Then, the author constructed a tri-generator model with MATLAB software, and ran the transient stability simulation in order to gain the sample for information amalgamation analysis as follows.
Finally, the author constructed ANN with Neural Network Toolbox in MATLAB simulation software. Under given network cases, it can construct information amalgamation model and get the results of information amalgamation for analysis of transient stability, and also can compare the results got by this method with that of traditional methods (such as time domain simulation method).

First, this article discusses the integration of information technology characteristics. Recalling the traditional transient stability assessment methods and their advantages and disadvantages, based on a proposed artificial ANN models to assess the stability of the electricity system transient.
Second, using a three - MATLAB erection system models and simulation Zantai stability to the integration of information from the analysis of the samples behind.
Finally,uses MATLAB simulation software Neural Network Toolbox to build artificial neural network. In a given network situation, to establish information integration models, and eventually be integrated with information Zantai stability analysis of the results, and integration of information and the results of traditional methods (such as the 24-hour simulation France), supported by the results of comparative analysis.
