Hope

I want to let go -
so I don't give a damn about fine writing,
I'm rolling my sleeves up.
The dough's rising...
Oh what a shame
I can't bake cathedrals...
that sublimity of style
I've always yearned for...
Child of our time -
haven't you found the right shell for your soul?

Before I die I *shall*
bake a cathedral.

Facing it Daily

I face it daily

As I wake up

As I go to bed

It affects the way

I sleep

The way I eat

What I do in

My daily activities.

It is never ending

This condition

That leaves me

Weak in the muscles

Sometimes tired

Sometimes fatigued,

It tries to get me down

Tries to drag me to the ground

But I stand firm

I stand strong

I am going to live

With this condition

Not let myself stop

Living

Because I suffer

From a neuromuscular disorder.

I'll take this battle

One step at a time

With faith that God from

Above is still in control,

And I will thank God

Even through the pain.
