consequence和consequent的区别

consequent  是结果的  或 多要加 on upon；即  consequent upon  / consequent on

例:

control consequent upon self-employment
对自顾的控制造成的如果。

the introduction of colour TV and consequent multi-set use in many homes
彩色电视的面世，造成家庭有多台电视的结果。

consequence ：结果，成果；[逻]结论；重要性；推论

复数：consequences

        （ The consequences of something are the results or effects of it. ）

  • Her lawyer said she understood the consequences of her actions and was prepared to go to jail...

    她的律师说她明白自己行为的后果，已有了入狱的心理准备。
