Changes in my life
Time flies fast and leaves changes behind. Nature continues her cycles of life, which is just like flowers' coming out and later falling down. Though in the next year, the fallen flowers appear on the branch again, something that is gone may never come back, especially in our human beings' life. The changes that take place are partly accompanied with joys while partly full of sorrows.
I like the sweet changes for they make me feel that I am growing up and being mature. Of them the giantest change is my gradually increasing knowledge of science and art. When I look forwoard, I find it hopeful for a better life. I suppose it to be a positive attitude toward the future, which is the most significant for us to live happily. Things around me are also developping fast in their own pace. For example, people's financial standard is higher than before, because of which they have more access to material matters, that is, nutrient, electronics, tourism and so on.
Besides the sweet changes, I also like the bitter ones, because this kind of changes make me know that some treasures are transient and I should cherish them before they disappear. From the life experience I find that everything has two sides. While I am growing up, in another way I am meanwhile growing old. Thus, I realize that youth is transient. While some unfamiliar people changes to be my friends, I have to say goodbye to them when I move to another place. Thus, I learn to love the one I am with. Not only me but also things around me might have learnt lessons from the past and the present. Industries make our life more convenient, but environment is being destroyed. Paper is easier to get, but trees are cut down, which causes soil and water loss. Communication can be made online, but face-to-face talk is reduced. Therefore, we all learn a lesson from changes and the lesson is that we should protect things we value before they are lost.
Changes are existing in every corner in my life, and I consider both the sweet changes and the bitter changes important.

岁月如梭，留下变化。大自然继续着她的生命轮回，就仿佛鲜花开放然后谢落。尽管待到明年，落花将再次重现枝头，某些消失的东西，特别是我们人生中的某些东西将一去不返。这些变化其中有苦有甜。

除了甜美的变化，我也喜欢让我觉得苦涩的变化，因为这种变化使我知道某些宝贵的东西是短暂的而我呢得在它们消失之前好好珍惜它们。生活经历告诉我万事万物都有两面。当我成长的时候，与此同时也意味着我在衰老。因此，我意识到青春是短暂的。当陌生人变成我的朋友，而我离去时不得不和他们道别。因此，我学会珍惜眼前人。不仅仅我，我周围的事物也想必从过去和现在的变化有所领悟。工业使我们的生活更加便捷，但是环境正在遭到破坏。纸张更容易获取，但是树木被砍伐，造成水土流失。人与人的交流在互联网上能够实现了，但是面对面的诉说则相对减少了。可见，我们都从变化中明白了一个道理，那就是我们应该趁我们所珍视的东西消失之前保护好它们。
变化存在于我的生活的各个角落，我认为无论是甜美的还是苦涩的，变化对于我们都是重要的。

There have been
many changes in my life. With the development of the economy, my life is better
off. For clothing, I have spare money to buy all sorts of pretty clothes. But in
the past, there were fewer clothes in my wardrobe. For food, I usually had
traditional Chinese food for every meal, rice, noodles or a steamed bun.
Nowadays, I can afford any delicious food, including western food. For housing,
I moved from a cramped and gloomy room to a big and bright flat. For getting
around, I rode an old bike on my way to work a year ago. At present, I drive my
private car to travel. I believe my life will become better in the near
future.

随着经济的发展,我们的生活已经有非常大的变化。我的生活可能会更好点。对于服装,我有比较富余的钱去买各种漂亮的衣服。但在过去,

To shift to a digital economy, best demonstrated by the explosive growth of the Internet, is transforming everyday products and practices.

Ideas expressed in soft wares, chips, communication systems, financial institutions and mass media have enormous leverage worldwide. Beyond emails and online shopping, the Internet promises to change dramatically huge spectrum activities. Its benefits can be well illustrated in the following aspects.

In the first place, it contributes to escape us from laborious work, save our time, facilitate our lives. Secondly, with computer’s extensive reach into every corner of the world, a perspective of human life can be shown only with a single keystroke.

No matter where we are, in school, business workshops, operating rooms, labs, banks of halls of government, the Internet appears to reflect a perspective of human life. Furthermore, computer profits us by relaxation and entertainment it provides.

But on the other hand, some people debate that it is also inconvenient, waste the time, isolated us from people only with the company of computers, and make our lives more complicated. Some people repair the most sophisticated computer but can’t mend a pair of socks.

Yet in fact, computer collapse the distances and demolishes all boundaries. Whether computer is a blessing or a curse, depends on different circumstance and the way you use it.

As a new millennium approach, we look forward to constructing a new fantasyland by combination with the wealth this new age will bring and the high technology it will provide.
