将金属硅制成粉后与HCL反应得到 TCS (氯硅烷,含大量硅原子的化合物)

因为纯度很高,全是有硅原子沉积得到的,因此呈现硅材料的晶格结构。因为晶格面朝不同方向乱序生长得到,所以被称为 多晶硅

将多晶硅破碎后,重新熔化并通过旋转晶种(通俗理解为搅拌),行业方法是“提拉法”。使其晶体面朝向同一方向,称为单晶硅。

太阳能电池片如果用多晶硅来做,因为晶格面朝向不同,转换效率会很低。
制备成单晶硅后,光电转换率会提高不少。

如果单晶硅的纯度可以达到 11N ,(99.999....% 11个9)的纯度,ppb或者ppt级 (摩尔浓度)则可切片送去做 半导体材料,譬方说 CPU 的晶圆。
