入选条件简介：
*performers
发行首张唱片至少25年以上，并且对摇滚的发展有卓绝的贡献。由摇滚历史学家组成的提名委员会提名，再由1000名左右的摇滚专家进行投票，票选超过50%即入选，每年的入选名单一般控制在5-7名。

*non-performers
对摇滚的发展有重大影响的歌曲作者、制作人、dj、录音师、新闻记者以及其他业内专业人士。

*early influences
摇滚诞生以前的艺人，但他们的音乐影响了摇滚的进化，而且赋予摇滚领先艺人创作灵感。
