My beautiful hometown
My hometown is in a far mountain area.There are many clear rivers and green mountains.The water is so clear that a lot of fish can be seen through the water.Many beautiful birds fly across the green forests everywhere.People do farming works everyday or few of them go fishing for living.
In recent years great changes have taken place in my hometown.People don't go farming everyday.They go out into the cities for labor work in order to earn more money.Only the women and chidren are left at home.And several factories are built near the village.The water have been polluted and no fish could be seen in the water.Birds seldom appear in the forest.People have a better living level than before but the environment is worse than before.

Changes of My Hometown

As the economy of our country is growing very fast year by year, my hometown is also undergoing great changes over these years. Roads are getting more and broader with more cars and trucks. Lots of factories have been set up and thus more opportunities are provided for those free labor force, People don't have to go farming everyday. They go to work in the factory in order to earn more money. People are getting better off day by day, life style has been greatly changed as people’s living standards being dramatically improved.

These are all changes we would like to see. However, some bad changes are also taking place, such as we get gray sky and smelly air due to pollution caused by the over-growing industry. The water has been polluted and no fish could be seen in the river. Birds are seldom seen in the forest. We can easily feel that our living environment is getting worse day by day.

In a word, I hope we can pay more attention to the environment while working hard to earn more money and live a better life.
