Flood over many areas in China, including Sichuan where nearby the mountainous area, but Chengdu survived. It rained heavily in Chengdu last week, and I was just back home after resign.

Recently, there are many places had flood in China but Chengdu had not while it happened in the others areas of Sichuan Province such as thoese cities near the mountaineous regions.
Last week it had a heavy rainstorm and I happened to go home since I just quited my job.

Many areas within the country are flooded these days but it didn't happen in Chengdu, it's in other areas of Sichuan which are cities nearer to the mountaineous regions. Last week, Chengdu had a very heavy storm. I was about to go home that as I had just quit my job.

There are quite a lot floods happening nationwide, except Chengdu. But other places in Sichuan encountered as well, especially cities in the mountainous areas. There was a torrential rain in Chengdu in last week while I was on my way home as I just quitted my job.
