可以的。
邀请函分为两种形式，一是电传回来，且用你所在学校的信纸撰写，可能对你有些难度（这比较好）；二是用快件发送过来，但也要用学校的信纸。
邀请函一般情况下，用写家信的形式就行了，写明你想他们了，并且有些事情需要他们到加拿大帮助你处理，只是在落款处有点区别，要非常自然的写明你与他们的关系，如：儿子（女儿）：XXX（你的亲笔签名）。
另，你的父母办理出国手续时，别忘了，办一份亲属关系证明公正书，连其它材料一起送交加拿大大使馆办理签证事宜。

邀请函要在加拿大邮寄过来。写清楚理由为什么邀请父母的原因理由等等。父母还要准备充分的材料证明自己只是去看看儿子是肯定要回来的。
