英语语法 主语从句中连接词的使用

whatever=no matter what,该类词就相当于no matter+疑问词，但no matter+疑问词只能用于状语从句中，而whatever 这类词可用于名词性从句中和状语从句中！

whatever you want to gain from your offer, you'd better be ready for something boring.
我觉得ever只是起到了强调或者说表达情绪的作用，没有什么必须性...
