Yesterday, when I opened my QQ, a popup message suddenly appeared, saying I would not log in QQ unless I uninstalled 360, a type of security software which has been fighting against QQ recently. I do not know how everybody else thinks, but at least I myself feel a little angry.
First of all, the behavior of QQ, the most popular IM provider, is doing something like coercing or threatening its more than 600 million users. According to its announcement, the Internet users must make a choice, either 360 or QQ. However, the truth is that there are nearly 200 million net friends tending to use both of them simultaneously. How can these people make a wise choice? Lose a safe computer environment if uninstalling 360, or lose an indispensable communication tool if removing QQ. Whatever they choose, they are victims.
In addition, this policy by QQ leaves people psychologically uncomfortable. QQ and 360 have been quarreling and fighting with each other for quite a long time, so it will be no surprise that each of them criticizes or even attacks the other one. However, anyone of them does not have the privilege to make users’ computer as their battlefield. Questions, complaints and even curses appear as soon as QQ made up the decision. For example, many of my friends have written complaints about QQ on their micro-blog, and some of them even give up QQ directly and turn to other IM tools such as MSN, Feshion, UC and so son instead, which is the last thing QQ wants to see.
Last but not the least, wars between different software should be a pleasant thing for users, because they will often update their service continuously in order to win their potential customers. That is to say, consumers, whoever fights, will gain from their competition. However, in this QQ-360 war, it is customers that suffer a lot. To this extent, QQ should take complete responsibility. That is why I dislike its gangster-like behavior. Some people may argue that it is 360 that first launched this campaign, so 360 should be accused of. Unfortunately ,we are joined the battle and become their weapon.The dispute has left users with no options and some QQ users term it a "choose-or-lose game." In the fight between the two companies, those most disrespected are us , the users. We was hurt because we was stripped of our rights

Besides I want to say that no products are indispensable and any kind of customers hijacking is simply lifting a rock only to drop it on their own feet.and the beneficiaries will be the other internet compaines.it is said that new user signups in China for Microsoft's MSN Messenger, a competitor to Tencent's leading QQ instant-messaging service, have gone 'from tens of thousands normally to millions' per day since a flare-up between the two Chinese companies began.
So ,I hope they can end the fighting as soon as possible.
It was easy to see ,from the battle, there is no relevant regulation to protect our right .so the government should draw up a clear regulation to protect privacy ,adding that would also help the heathy development of china’s IT industry . meanwhile, who gave Tencen gut to force the users to make a choice .The answer is that Tencent has a monopoly position in china’s IT industry.
