Last weekend, I interviewed professor Wang, who is an eye-doctor, about the problem of shortsightedness among the students in China.
According to professor Wang, the rate of shortsightedness is slightly above 50%, and the total number in China is the first in the world.
Professor Wang put it that the cause of shortsightedness is complex. At present, no drug can cure it. He suggested that students take more outdoor games and that using eyes shouldn't be excessive. He especislly pointed out that the shortsightedness relates to how to hold a pen when we write.
