good manners
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I’m so glad that we have get the good chance to get-together and talk of everything under the sun. I wonder how lovely the weather is and so is our topic—the manners we often do.
Recently, the weather is getting colder and colder. Some classmates feel unwell to the throat . With a sound of cracking, they spat on the ground. So we always found that the ground is quite dirty and feel sorry for them.
We know the ages is growing fast all the time since the human beings appeared. Our county has a history of 5’000 years . And China is to be called the nation of rite. As a Chinese student , we should think more about the manners. We need to learn have good manners. Some of us may say, “We are nearly to be adults, don’t we know these things?” Well, if you think so, I’d like to ask you “Have you ever spoken politely and never shouted curses? Have you ever gone through the road directly but no cars were nearly to you while the traffic light is red? Have you ever spat on the ground when you alone?”
If your answers aren’t my hope, well, I am glad to tell you that you know well of yourself , and need just to well next time. Certainly, it’s my pleasure to hear you say “ Oh, I have good manners and do them very well, just a piece of cake!”
Dear audiences, do you feel tired? Ok, I’d like to tell you a little joke: it is said that when a person went to Beijing, he would thought his officer was low: when he went to Shanghai, he thought the buildings in his hometown were low; when he went to Shenzhen, he thought his money was poor. That’s true! We can say “the more a man knows, the less he knows he knows.” If we don’t have good manners, we’ll find how poor we are! What’s more, Beijing will held the 29th Olympic games and the government plan to held “Civilization Olympic” . As a polite looker, we must have good manners. So the foreign friends accept Chinese have made a large progress, not only in Material civilization, but also in Intellectual civilization.
Dear friends, time flies! Three years seems to be one minute. I wish we will get-together in Beijing as polite visitors in three years . I believe that we are able to have good manners and to wait for this date.
At last ,I would like to say ,”See you in Beijing!”
That’s all ,thank you.
The ideal teacher may be young or old, tall or short, fat or thin. He should know his subject, but he can make mistakes if he is willing to learn. His personality is as important as his scholarship. The ideal teacher must be enthusiastic. He must never teach anything he himself is not interested in. HE should be a bit of anactor and he should not be afraid t express his feelings and express his likes and dislikes. He must like his students and respect them. But he must also respect himself and take pride in his work. Otherwise, he cannot respect his students and win respect from them. The ideal teacher should have an understanding of his students and be able tp relate to them. HE needs students’ understanding, too. The ideal teacher should be kind, encouraging, and helpful and he should motivate his students to seek knowledge. The ideal teacher should see his students as individuals and acknowledge their differences. He must know how to encourage the self-development and growth of each of his students. The ideal teacher is one who grows, learns, and improves himself along with his students. So what about the teachers around you?
