How to Communicate With My Friends Efficiently

In the present era of information, people usually spend most of their spare time surging on the internet and are reluctant to invite their friends for relaxation such as fishing, skating and hiking and so forth. Consequently, the communication with their friends becomes less and less. In my opinion, however, it is very necessary for people to communicate with their friends frequently in our modern society. Otherwise, people will gradually become isolated and lose interest in events surrounding them. I think it’s harmful for people’s mental health.

The general way I prefer to communicate with my friends is the phone call. In the case that I can not spare enough time to meet my friends face to face, I often make a phone call to my friends, chatting about what has happened in our city. Besides the phone call, sending e-mail is also a better approach (is also a good/ is a better) for me to keep in touch with my friends. Many of my friends live aboard where I can not phone them directly due to a high charge for phone call, I usually resort to e-mail writing. Every week I send e-mails to my friends who live in America, Australia and in other nations. In spite of the long way between us, I can communicate with them freely, knowing the trifles even their neighbors don’t learn about. Certainly, the best and most efficient way to communicate, I think, is to turn off my computer, go out of my office and pay a visit to my friends or invite them for a party.

Nevertheless, I think the way adopted by one person to communicate with friends is not the most important. The most important thing is one’s attitude to friends
