难忘的一天
what a (miserable) day!

今天，天有点阴。
Today，the weather was a little bit gloomy.
早晨我和朋友约好下午要一起去逛街，然后到公园玩。
In the morning，I fixed a date with my friend，we planned to go shopping this afternoon ，then we would go to the park.

没想到下午刚出门就下起了非常大的雨，当我想要回家拿伞的时候，才忽然发现我的鈅匙没有带而且家裏也没有人。

However，in the afternoon，it started raining when I had just left my house，then I tried to get back and pick up an umbrella——only to find out that I had left my keys inside ，and nobody was at home！

於是我不得不继续朝前走去，坐上一辆taxi。
Thus,I had to keep on moving,and afterward I took a taxi.

到了约定的地方后雨还是很大，我发现我的朋友竟然还没有出门甚至有点不想来了。
It was still raining when I got to the rendezvous,and I almost felt like quitting when I found out that my friend didn't even set out.

我有点生气和委屈，於是我取消了这次的约会。
Being angry and frustrated,I cancelled the date.

一个人淋着育往家走去。
I walked home alone in the rain.

等回到家我已全身湿透而且家裏还是没有人。
When I got back,I was all drenched,but still there was nobody at home!

於是我在门口坐了近三个小时。隔天就发高烧了。我想这真是难忘的一天。

I had but to sit at the door for about 3 hours.I had a fever the day after.What a (miserable) day!

An Unforgettable Day
It was National Day again and I had an eight-day holiday. My classmate Li Hua and I decided to visit the Great Wall.On the moring of October 1st,we started out at 8:00 and got there at 8:30.There were many people at the Great Wall,boys and girls ,young and old were everywhere.We felt excited and began to climb the Great Wall.We followed the crowd,step by step.Soon we reached the top of the Great Wall.What a good view!The Great Wall lies on the hills,just like a huge dragon.How clever and hard-working the ancient people were!It was they who had built the great building .
We had an unforgettabl day,though a little tired.

i will never forget that day.That is a rain day,i'm go sight seeing with my friends on the Great Wall.One of my friends Da ming ,hold out a new MP4 and showed it to us and said ,'How about that .'That is a really beauful MP4,Suddenly ,a robber rush to us and stolen it ! The robber raced so fast that no one of us could catch him .Findly ,a policeman catch him and give the MP4 to Da ming . The policeman leave without one word.What a responsible policeman he is!（讲的是一个负责任的警察帮你们抓小偷的故事，当时你和朋友们在长城看风景，大明的MP4被偷了。）

Joe and I decided to take the long trip we'd always wanted across the country. We were like young kids buying our camper and stocking it with all the necessities of life. Bella bakes the best rhubarb pie. We started out in early spring from Minneapolis and headed west across the northern part of the country. We both enjoyed those people we met at the trailer park. Joe received a watch at his retirement dinner. To our surprise, we found that we liked the warm southern regions very much, and so we decided to stay here in New Mexico.
