This article mainly applies three kinds to carry on the division based on the threshold value algorithm image division method to the image. Between most broad heading variance law in numerous image threshold value division algorithm, by its fine division effect time researchers' attention. When uses between the most broad heading the variance law division image, may obtain the ideal result.

This paper applied three kinds of threshold algorithm based on image segmentation method for image segmentation. Three methods are respectively: peaks histogram method and iterative method, the maximum between-cluster variance method. Histogram double-peak method is a simple threshold segmentation method. Iteration threshold selection algorithm is in the improvement of peaks. Maximum between-cluster variance method in many image threshold segmentation algorithm, with its good segmentation results by researchers. In the method of image segmentation between-cluster variance can be obtained, good results.
